“Killing Me Softly with His Song” er en sang komponeret af Charles Fox med tekster af Norman Gimbel. Teksterne blev skrevet i samarbejde med Lori Lieberman, efter at hun blev inspireret af Don McLeans præstation i slutningen af 1971. Lieberman udgav sin version af sangen i 1972, men den kom ikke på hitlisten.
I 1973 blev det et nummer 1 hit i USA, Australien og Canada.
Fugees indspillede en version, der i 1997 vandt Grammy for bedste R &B Performance.
Der er lavet flere cover- versioner af sangen af forskellige kunstnere.
